I purchased over thirty pieces of art from second-hand stores and exhibited them in the local library—re-presenting the pieces and their anonymous makers as valuable in our visual and social culture. I'm asking the audience to pay attention to the individual pieces, and as a whole, issues of value in art, and society.
In conjunction with the exhibition, a public forum was held at the library to discuss value and art in the East Syracuse community.
